I love this oreo cake pop recipe:
Oreo Cookie Truffle Pop Recipe – makes approx 16 truffle pops
300g Oreo Cookies
150g Cream Cheese at room temp
397g packet wilton chocolate melts ( I use normal white chocolate melts from the supermarket and purchased from spotlight chocolate powdered colouring for chocolate and made the chocolate whatever colour I wanted, I found this worked better than the wilton chocolate melts.)
Lollipop sticks
- Crush Oreo cookies finely in a food processor
- Add cream cheese and process until the mixture clumps together (or mix it in with your hands)
- Roll into small balls and refrigerate until firm.
- To secure sticks for dipping, melt some of the chocolate (I just do mine in the microwave) and dip the end of the stick in the chocolate and push into the firm truffle. Return to fridge.
- Melt remainder of chocolate, make sure it is completely smooth. Holding the stick dip truffles into the melted chocolate, allow excess to drip off and then place in a holder to set. I used a block of Styrofoam.
Our beautiful white porcelain cake stand is a necessity for any party display the beautiful birthday cake on top in the centre of your table or even use to
display sweets like macaroons.
This is a macaroon recipe I love and find quite easy:
Multicoloured Macaroons Recipe
Makes 20 and takes 45 minutes to make, 15 minutes to cook, plus cooling. Carefully follow the recipe for perfect macaroons that will wow your guests.
Ingredients
175g icing sugar
125g ground almonds (almond meal)
3 large egg whites
75g caster sugar
For the filling
150g butter, softened
75g icing sugar
Method
- Preheat the oven to 160c/fan 140c/gas. Whizz the icing sugar and ground almonds in a food processor to a very fine mixture, then sift into a bowl.
- In a separate bowl whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt to soft peaks, then gradually whisk in the caster sugar until thick and glossy. (At this point you can stir in flavor extract, such as peppermint or lemon and corresponding colouring such as blue or yellow to your meringue mixture, depending on what kind of macaroons you want. Or divide the meringue among different bowls if you want to make more than one colour.)
- Fold half the almond and icing sugar mixture into the meringue and mix well. Add the remaining half making sure you use a spatula to cut and fold the mixture until its shiny and has a thick ribbon-like consistency as it falls from the spatula. Spoon into a piping bag fitted with a 1cm plain nozzle.
- Line 2 baking sheets with baking paper. Pipe small rounds of the macaroon mixture, about 3cm across, onto the baking sheets. Give the baking sheets a sharp tap on the work surface to ensure a good ‘foot’. Leave to stand at room temp for 10-15min to form a slight skin. This is important – you should be able to touch them lightly without any mixture sticking to your finger. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool.
- Meanwhile make the filling. In a bowl beat the butter until light and fluffy, then beat in the icing sugar. (You can now add flavouring and colour.) Use to sandwich pairs of macaroons together.
Our beautiful mini glass bottles look divine displayed on a platter on the table fill them with your favourite red or blue drink add in our retro paper party straws topped with your party straw flags from our printable party pack and you have a gorgeous drinks display for all your guests.

You can’t have a nautical themed party without our gorgeous sailboat cookie cutter. Cookie cutters don’t just have to be used to make cookies with, you can cut your delicious sandwiches in the sailboat shape for a gorgeous added touch. But what kids party is complete without cookies.
I love this recipe for cookies it’s so easy and it’s also very delicious.
Cookie Recipe
Ingredients
2 cups plain flour, plus more for rolling
½ tsp baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
113g unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup caster sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
Method
- In a large bowl, whisk flour, baking powder and salt. With an electric mixer cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. With mixer on low, gradually add flour mixture, beat until combined. Divide dough in half, flatten into disks. Wrap each in plastic, freeze until firm at least 20 minutes or place in a re-sealable plastic bag and freeze up to 3 months (thaw in refrigerator overnight).
- Preheat oven to 160 degrees. Line baking sheets with baking paper. Remove one dough disk, let stand for 5 to 10 minutes. Roll out 1/8 inch thick between two sheets of floured baking paper, dusting dough with flour as needed. Cut shapes with cookie cutters. Using a spatula transfer to baking sheets. (if dough gets too soft chill for 10 min) Reroll scraps; Cut shapes. Repeat with remaining dough.
- Bake, rotating halfway through until edges are golden. 10 to 18 minutes (depending on size). Cool completely on wire racks. Decorate as you wish (I like to use the packet royal icing from the supermarket).
